The Ivy Community Foundation, Inc. 501(c) (3)

The Ivy Community Foundation, Inc. (ICF) was established in 2006 by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® , Chi Delta Omega Chapter. It is a separate entity with its own officers and financial records. The Ivy Community Foundation, Inc., like the Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation, Inc.® (EAF) are both 501(c) (3) organizations and tax exempt.

The Ivy Community Foundation over the past 20 years has helped disadvantaged youth obtain a college education and helped disadvantaged persons in their struggle to survive. We do this through scholarships and community programs. Since 2006, we have provided over $200,000 in scholarships and community projects throughout Flager and Putnam counties.

Like EAF, the Ivy Community Foundation works in partnership with various organizations but holds a particular affiliation with Chi Delta Omega Chapter as noted in Article X of the chapter’s bylaws.
