Back-to-School Giveaway

One community service project that Chi Delta Omega chapter participates in annually is the school supply giveaway organized by the Palatka Police Athletic League. The event takes place at the end of the summer vacation period. The chapter sets up a table displaying crayons, markers, spiral notebooks, scissors, erasers, pencils, rulers, pencil sharpeners, or whatever one item is needed to assure the youth of our service area are fully supplied with equipment needed for the first weeks of the school year.

"A Christmas to Remember"



Each Christmas season Chi Delta Omega joins our local Community Partnership for Children to donate to children in foster care through "A Christmas to Remember." In addition to answering the call of specific requests of the youth, the chapter has donated duffle bags for the storage and transport of personal items, cosmetics suitable for teen girls, hoodies for teen boys and girls, underwear and personal hygiene products for youth of all ages, and, of course, toys for younger children. In addition to making chapter and personal donations, members assist with sorting and wrapping gifts to help make these holidays truly Christmases to Remember.

"Our Father's Table"



One of Chi Delta Omega's most rewarding community Service projects involves preparing meals for homeless individuals and needy families. This effort supports the Our Father's Table ministry of Palm Coast United Methodist Church. Over the years, chapter members have washed and cut vegetables, prepared various meats, and planned and packaged meals with dedication, sisterhood, and teamwork. This long-lasting partnership and support takes place several times during the year. It represents another example of Chi Delta Omega's commitment to live up to our motto, "service to all mankind."
